About Marine

I am a qualified French teacher with over 8 years of experience teaching across different age groups. I am very patient, caring and friendly. I will always endeavour to make you feel at ease in my lessons and content with what you have learnt. Learning a language is not just about following a book, it comes with its own expressions, culture and way of life. I will be more than happy to share that with you and ensure you come out of the lesson a little more French.

About the lesson

I am an experienced teacher and a native speaker of French. I can prepare students for their exams, improve their fluency or teach French from the beginning. I always ensure my lessons have a bit of everything in them, listening, speaking, reading and writing tasks so that you develop all skills over time. I hold a master in linguistics and this passion for grammar enables me to explain grammar points in depth and to compare it with English grammar to clarify any misunderstandings, underlining the similarities or the differences between the two languages. I am able to provide a wide range of educational resources to facilitate students' learning. I pay attention to pronunciation which is key when learning French, providing my pupils with phonics table to get them familiar with pronunciation rules.

Marine is so kind and she always has nice worksheets ready for me. I can even ask her questions outside the lesson if I need to and she answers me with great explanation all the time.
