About Rowen
Hello, I’m Rowen — a fully qualified teacher with a genuine passion for helping people learn, grow in confidence, and achieve their goals.
I have worked in education for many years across primary, secondary and specialist settings, supporting a wide range of students with different abilities and backgrounds. My experience includes teaching Humanities, languages and drama, as well as working with students who need additional support, including those with SEND and SEMH needs.
Alongside teaching, I have a background in media, community education and professional acting, which has shaped the way I work with students. I enjoy bringing creativity, communication and real-world relevance into lessons, helping learning feel engaging and meaningful rather than just focused on exams.
Why I Teach
I became a teacher because I believe education can make a real difference to people’s confidence and opportunities. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing a student realise they are capable of more than they thought — whether that’s improving their grades, speaking more confidently, or simply feeling more positive about learning.
I understand that every student is different. Some need structure and clarity, others need encouragement and confidence-building. My aim is always to meet students where they are, support them patiently, and help them move forward step by step.
Whether I’m working with a GCSE student preparing for exams, a younger learner building foundations, or someone learning English as a new language, my goal is the same: to create a supportive, positive environment where real progress can happen.
I believe learning should feel achievable, engaging and worthwhile — and I aim to bring that into every lesson.

I’m a fully qualified teacher with experience across primary, secondary and specialist schools, offering tailored lessons that build confidence and improve results.
