About Laura
I am Laura. I am a super friendly and approachable person who decided to turn my passion of helping people into a career at the age of 18. Although I didn't jump into the UK education system straight away, I started off working with international students at summer camps here and then took the leap to moving abroad to teach English as a foreign language to learners of all age. Once I'd seen some of the world, I decided to settle here and teach full time in schools. I love my job and love helping my children achieve as much as possible. I chose to tutor as it allows me to reach additional children and on a 1:1/ small group level that cannot be achieved in the classroom!

I have been a qualified primary school teacher in the UK for 6 years now but before that, I taught English as a foreign language abroad to learners of all ages. My teaching styles vary from student to student because no two learners are the same. Once I have met and assessed the learner, we will look at their specific needs and then plan a programme of lessons from there.
Lessons can be between 45 minutes -2 hours depending again on the want of the student.
