About Denise
I originally qualified as a primary teacher with an English specialism. I have spent the last 4 years teaching 13-16 year old students in an Alternative Provision school. My GCSE students have gone on to further education in colleges, universities and other academic routes. I have an undergraduate Degree in Sociology and studied Higher Level English for my Leaving Certificate in Ireland. I have a passion for the English language and love teaching students of all ages and at all levels.

My teaching methods are very diverse depending on what is needed. I will assess your learning style and apply appropriate methods based on this. These will include: Visual, game-based learning, student led methods, modelling answers and scaffolding to ensure progress is reached. All methods will be based on personalized and individual learning plans.
