PowerHour Education is an educational resources centre founded by a VCE English teacher and decade-long tutor who wanted to address the needs of students interested in taking their learning experience to the next level. We use the PowerHour System across our growing range of services and products, including tutoring sessions, online courses, personalised study packages, and more.
The PowerHour System is a 60-minute timeblock designed to push students to their skillset limits. A PowerHour incorporates teacher-tested tactics like learning intentions, explicit instruction, worked examples, skills practice, and metacognitive reflection.
Online tutors are available after school and on weekends, for casual and planned sessions.
