About Cecily
Tight throats and shallow breaths often keep you from hitting that high note. My lessons address the physical tension that builds up when you try to force a melody. We start with breathing control and warm-up exercises to prepare your instrument. You get a personalized song list built around each student's range to ensure you feel comfortable.
I emphasize tone and resonance so your voice carries naturally. Performance confidence grows when you stop worrying about the mechanics. Just listen to your own progress.
We will use my 5 years of experience to refine your vibrato control and belting technique. Singing is my life and I hope to share that with you.

Music lives in the space between the notes, which is something I realized after 13 years gigging in Montreal. I am a self-taught artist and native Québécois speaker who carries the chanson tradition into every vocal session.
My 5 years of experience as a teacher allow me to translate those long nights on stage into practical exercises for adults and working professionals. I focus on how to connect your breathing to your actual performance. You will learn how to balance your head and chest voice using techniques I perfected while touring. It is a slow process of discovery that feels natural over time.
