I am an RCM-certified piano and music theory teacher with over 15 years of experience performing and over 5 years working with students of all ages and skill levels. I am passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to grow and express themselves musically. I emphasize clear technique and musical understanding without overcomplicating concepts. For piano, this includes reading, rhythm, and chord fluency. I also incorporate ear training and performance coaching to help students build confidence.
A typical lesson includes a short warm-up, focused work on repertoire, and targeted skill-building such as sight-reading or theory. I end each lesson with clear goals so students can track their progress.
What sets me apart is my focus on connection, consistency, and long-term growth. I create a positive environment where students feel motivated and supported, helping them build both skill and confidence over time.
