About Piper
Piano keys clicking under my fingers remain a vivid memory from 4 years old, starting a path that led to a BMus from the Curtis Institute of Music. Over the last 13 years, I have helped 60 plus students navigate the rigors of the RCM syllabus, moving from Prep A through ARCT with consistent distinction. My teaching covers everything from foundational sight reading and rhythm to the complexity of jazz improvisation and classical repertoire.
Developing hand independence and precise pedaling technique defines my structured approach to music theory and ear training. You will find my classroom environment calm and thoughtful while we refine your scales and arpeggios. I focus on building a deep technical base so you can eventually discover your own unique musical voice.
