About Karen
I have a master’s degree in education along with a reading endorsement, and I’ve been teaching ELA, reading, and comprehension skills for 29 years. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of students, and I always design my lessons to meet their individual needs. Whether I’m teaching foundational literacy or advanced comprehension strategies, I strive to create lessons that are both effective and engaging, helping each student grow with confidence.

In my reading lessons, I teach everything from early literacy skills to test preparation, spelling, and reading comprehension. I tailor my instruction to meet the needs of each learner, whether they’re just beginning to read or working to improve their testing strategies.
