About Julie
I've been an educator for over 25 years. I have been a classroom teacher, an instructional coach and an educational consultant. I write professional books for teachers and school leaders focused on how to teach literacy.
I believe everyone can be a great reader and writer. This starts with students reading and writing about topics they love and enjoy. Once we get reading and writing, we'll add in the skills and strategies needed to boost literacy knowledge.
