About Scott
HELLO!!!
I'm Scott, I'm 25 year's old. I've been playing bass since middle school. Slipknot's late Paul Gray was my inspiration to pick up the bass. The first time I heard his bass in his instructional video for Slipknot's Duality, shook me to my core, & lit an unbelievable fire to which I knew I needed a bass in my hands. Not long after I bought my very first bass. A year or so after learning & excelling at bass, I wanted to also learn how to play a little lead guitar here & there just for fun. So I bought a $20 first act blue guitar off of my best friend who lived right next door to me at the time.
I had gone through formal teaching for about 5 years, between 2 amazing teachers, to which I am very thankful for, because without their help, & their guidance I would not be able to do what I am able to do here today.
I've played in a multitude of bands, ranging all across the musical spectrum, from punk rock bands, to acoustic, 'hippie' esc bands as some people could call it, to outright cover bands. I enjoy all kinds of music, & would love to help you in your journey in become an amazing musician!!

Together we'll work through an easy to understand, & easy to follow workbook that I have put together, from my many years of bass/guitar experience, that will no doubt make you a master at your instrument, even if you've never touched a guitar, or bass in your life!! I have been playing bass, & guitar, (both rhythm & lead) for over a decade. The way the workbook works will be discussed on the first day of class. I hope to see you there!!
