About Charles

After 13 years of coaching managers and leadership teams (my LinkedIn profile: Charles Oldroyd), I am currently taking a coaching certification with the Co-Active Training Institute and am training to become a therapist. I also practise tantra, sound therapy, reiki, and breath work. I currently live in Paris and work online in English and French, having grown up and lived in between both cultures my whole life.

About the lesson

Hi, my name is Charles. If you are reading this, something is driving you to make a change in your life.

Maybe I was a bit like you: for a very long time I was an alcoholic. Addicted to cigarettes and pornography. Severely overweight, I lost all the pounds and trained in the gym every day furiously, founding myself injured again and again. I also spent hours on end on dating apps, stuck in a cycle of download, delete, download, delete. I felt like I always found something to escape from myself.

I hit rock bottom 3 years ago and decided to start changing my life. I embarked on a journey to finally learn to love myself and become the person I've always wanted to be. It was anything but easy, however today I have an abundance of love in my life, for myself and for others. I have achieved so many goals and dreams that seemed impossible a few years ago. I don't drink or smoke. I don't enjoy porn any more. I've taken a step back from my work. I do sport regularly and I do it gently. I'm in a loving relationship with someone I met during a tantra retreat week-end: a relationship of honesty, vulnerability and joy beyond my wildest dreams.

How did I do it? I was coached. I did many (many) different therapies. I meditated for 10 days in silence. I got into embodiment work, tantra and breathing. I gained knowledge and experience from a wave of teachers who swept into into my life. As time went by, I started passing this onto others. After spending years coaching executives in the corporate world, I am now in the process of obtaining a coaching certification and am training to become a therapist. As I am still learning, I'm offering coaching sessions at a reduced rate.
