I prefer to teach my students the very basics and build up from a very simple starting point. Using Elon Musk's philosophy on learning, I teach people so that they understand each step of a process. Most importantly I teach my student why they need to learn something. I believe that learning with purpose creates much more retention in students than those who learn to pass a test.
