About Brittany
I am a recent college graduate, from the University of Rhode Island, who has worked within a corporate setting for over 3 years. English is my strong-suit and my skills have been widely enhanced due to school and work. I majored in Communications and took a variety of English and Writing classes during my 5 years of college. I also minored in Psychology, so I work very well with others and am good at assessing others and their behaviors (how they learn, etc.). Within the corporate setting I am constantly writing, editing, and critiquing employee's work. During high school I complete a 3 year Child Development program which I left with my TA Certificate. I have taught in several different settings and to different age groups, which is why I am confident in my tutoring skills.

As a tutor, I am comfortable tutoring any age/grade level, since I have recently graduated college. My teaching method is all about patience and assessing the student; how they learn, what they need from me as a tutor, and how to best teach them the material at hand. As I have experience in child development/teaching, I am am able to tailor lesson plans to the individual student and the material they need to learn.
