About Richard
I am a recent graduate from The George Washington University. While an undergraduate I was lucky enough to further expand my Spanish knowledge by taking Classic Spanish Literature analysis, Modern Hispanic Literature, and advanced writing classes on a graduate level. These courses I took in college combined with the fact that I am a native speaker make me an ideal candidate to teach you Spanish. Having learned Spanish both in Hispanic America and in the United States makes me able to bring to there table the best features of both learning styles and make you excel in the language.

My lessons are catered to your learning style and goals.
My style as a tutor is practical and interactive. I focus on practical communication skills and will adjust to whatever level of proficiency you want to achieve.
My typical lesson plans start with objectives and it continues with background information (if any). The core of my lessons revolves around theory or grammar and MOST importantly, practice.
Practice is the cornerstone of learning any language I will make sure to teach conversation skills, as well as vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural context that will come from readings and activities supplemented by me.
