About Melissa
I am a recent graduate of Western Kentucky University and I live in Kentucky. I have two children and a loving partner! I have been in my current town for the past 24 years and I love being a local here! I love to see the local art and bring my own to the city around me!
I am a substitute teacher for K-12 and I would love to one day get into Art therapy and open my own non-profit organization to help the troubled youth and all the youth in the towns surrounding me!
I have worked in the schools since 2017 with various instructions while at Wku and conducted many teaches with kiddos from all different places around the world. The geo-national school was one of my favorites in which we got to help them create the mural in their school!

As a tutor I can connect with you in each lesson and I truly try to listen and understand first and foremost!
A typical lesson plan that I like to perform with my kiddos is a life box. They make a shoe box and design it to fit their particular style, heritage, and lifestyle! The techniques creatingthe box is only part of the fun!
