About Masha
I have been playing flute since I was 6 years old, and I started taking up singing lessons when I was 9. I come from a family of musicians and I have been surrounded with music my whole life. Playing and performing music has given me wonderful experiences and built my confidence, which I carry into everyday life. I love sharing the joy and passion for music that my teachers once instilled in me, helping students discover their own appreciation for music. Whether it becomes a profession or a hobby, I aim to guide my students to enjoy music fully, as listeners, performers, and thoughtful critics.

I am a trained actor-musician (a recent graduate from Guildford School of Acting) and professional flautist with an 8+ diploma-level performance standard. I have played in professional productions and live concerts, giving me real insight into the industry - having experience in ensemble work, pit playing, and solo performance. I specialise in exam preparation, tone development, technique, and performance skills. My lessons are clear, structured, and personalised to help students make noticeable progress.

Masha is super sweet and an excellent tutor, very hardworking. Our lessons were very well-structured; in just 45 minutes, we covered scales, etudes, technical exercises, and even pieces for graded exams. I’ve always wanted to play the flute and Masha helped me make my dream come true :)
