About Maddie
Having just completed a degree in History and Politics at Oxford and achieving A* grades at A-Level , I have extensive knowledge in both fields. I also have experience tutoring them for both GCSE and A-Level students.
I am enthusiastic and encouraging, creating a comfortable and confidence- building atmosphere in my lessons.

I tutor in History and Politics up to and including A- Level and can provide support for university admissions. I have recently mentored a student for admission into Oxford and other Russell Group universities.
My lessons tend to focus both on curriculum content and exam technique. This ensures students have an excellent grasp of the knowledge and concepts needed, and the ability to apply this to answering exam questions and writing exam essays - a side that I know is often hard for students to improve on in a larger classroom context. That said, every session I plan is carefully tailored for each individual student, ensuring that I address their unique needs.
I work to challenge my students, pushing them to achieve their best. However, my previous students have also found lessons to be extremely enjoyable and rewarding.
I tend to teach for one to two hours, depending on the needs of the student.
