About Hayley
I have had experience in teaching children as I did a Year Abroad in Spain as part of my degree as a Language Assistant for the Spanish Ministry of Education. My role as a Language Assistant was to help Spanish primary school teachers teach English. When I teach, I consider the student’s age and ability. For example, during my time in Spain, I would use photos and other diagrams to help explain things to the children in Year 1 and 2 and the children in Years 3, 4 and 5 would be given pieces of text to read as they had been learning English for a few years.

I have recently graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) Degree in History and Spanish. I also have 13 GCSEs A-C and A-Levels in History, Spanish and Maths.
I believe that every student is different and learns in a different way. Therefore, I will make sure that my lessons will fit the needs of the student to help them perform to the best of their ability.
My motivation to tutor is seeing a student’s enthusiasm to learn and that they really want to learn. Also, I hope that through tutoring, I can be a positive influence on someone. I am patient, friendly, organised and trustworthy and am able to help students in KS1, 2, 3 and 4 with anything from homework help to exam preparation.
