About Tom
I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a master's degree in economics, after having done my undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham. I'm looking to tutor people of all abilities, from aspiring A* students to those who are nervous about passing. I know what a stressful time GCSEs and A levels can be, and I want to help you guys through it! I'm not only equipped to teach you the content, but I also pride myself on being a kind and friendly face. I want to create a stress-free and relaxed atmosphere in my lessons - you get enough stress and grumpy teachers at school!

For me, how we structure the lessons is about what works for you. Many of you who are looking for tutoring may be struggling with the subject or may not even like it, but that's okay! In my lessons (50 mins/1 hour), we will go at a pace that works for you. Preferably, you send me anything in particular that you want to look at a couple of days in advance so I can prepare thoroughly for it. We can go over various content, any past work that you have done or learn new parts of the course that you haven't covered yet. What I really aim for is a stress-free environment - I want to build your confidence around the subject! That's why there's no pressure about making mistakes here - we will go at the pace that works for you. I've tutored A level students before, but am able to tutor for those at GCSE level and below too.
