I studied mathematics at university. I took math courses of all types, whether they were pure, applied or a variation of both. I am very calm and patient, and enjoy teaching for its own sake, in fact I see teaching as another learning experience for myself! :)

I believe in the active learning process, which means one way lecturing does not work. I will teach you the material and then ask you to practice the material so I can provide feedback on the spot. In addition I will assign homework or check your work throughly so you can get the confidence you'd need in knowing not just the HOW but the WHY too :)
