About Jacob
I have been playing brass instruments (specialising in lower brass) for around 14 years in brass bands and more recently wind ensembles. Also, I have recently finished a degree in Musical Arts at the University of Salford (first class honours) specialising in performance and conducting.

My teaching method involves establishing the fundamental techniques involved in developing tone and technical ability. This is done through the use of exercises and scales and then applying these to pieces for exams or just to put the taught skills in context of what they may encounter as the progress further.
