About Clark

Learning piano is an investment in yourself and a blessing to your future. I was lucky enough to begin lessons at the age of five. 17 years later, I strive to give that gift of musical appreciation, love, and understanding back to as many people as I can. As a pianist, I have played in jazz bands, performed classical arrangements for audiences, taken college-level music theory courses and composed music for multiple instruments in my rock band. I come from a family of teachers and there's not much I enjoy more than helping someone discover their new passion. I have taught numerous people to love to play piano and I understand both the difficulties and the joys of learning the essential skills and techniques which allow a new player to flourish.

About the lesson

Learning piano is hard, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun! I will uniquely tailor your lesson plans to help you reach the specific goals you care about whether that's playing your favorite pop songs by ear, sight-reading sheet music from your favorite film scores, playing classical pieces with flawless technique, or singing along to the chords of Broadway classics. I am happy to teach learners of any skill level in their own home and I'd be happy to provide my own digital keyboard for the lesson if you don't have access to one. I have extensive knowledge of outstanding learning resources such as books, websites, and other online resources which I'd be happy to share with you to provide learning material to complement the lessons.
