About Karen
Having recently graduated in Teaching Sciences and Biology, I am looking to teach online. Part of my teaching experience was carried out online during the recent lock-down. I have experience in teaching classes both face to face at school and online. As part of online teaching I have used a range of different technologies to make lessons more interactive, fun and engaging. Having worked professionally in the pharmaceutical industry before becoming a teacher, I have a range of links to real-world experiences and examples.

Teaching is always pupil-focused. I take a strengths-based approach to learning aiming to work with pupil's strengths in a constructive way. A growth mindset is very important to help pupils realize their full potential and to build confidence across subjects.
