About Shagun

I understand motherhood's darkest corners because I've lived there. When I became a mother, instead of the bliss promised in parenting books, I felt an overwhelming sense of loss – of my identity, my body's familiarity, and my emotional equilibrium. I smiled for photos while feeling hollow inside, wondering if I was the only mother who felt this disconnection. This personal struggle led me to ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and modern psychology, where I discovered I wasn't broken – I was experiencing the profound transformation of Matrescence that our culture rarely acknowledges or supports. My journey from maternal detachment to authentic connection became my calling. I now guide mothers through this same territory, offering the compassionate witness and practical wisdom I desperately needed during my darkest moments. I bring both professional training in Ayurvedic principles and the lived experience of maternal struggle to my work. I understand the shame of not feeling what you "should" feel, the exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix, and the loneliness that can exist even in a room full of other mothers. If you're struggling with motherhood in ways you never anticipated and cannot share with others for fear of judgment, know that I've created this space specifically for you – where your full experience is witnessed, your constitution is honored, and your authentic mothering path can emerge.

About the lesson

Are you constantly wondering "Is this all there is to motherhood?" Do you feel physically depleted beyond normal tiredness, emotionally numb, or disconnected from the joy you thought parenting would bring? You're not alone, and it's not your fault.
My AyurMother approach addresses the hidden struggles many mothers face but rarely speak about. Through a unique blend of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and modern Matrescence coaching, I help mothers who feel lost in the chaos of parenting find their center again.
Sessions begin with a personalized dosha assessment to identify your unique constitutional nature and where imbalances might be causing physical exhaustion, emotional disconnection, or identity confusion. We then create customized practices that work with your specific body type and life circumstances.
My program includes both one-on-one sessions (60-90 minutes) and a transformative 6-week Sacred Womb and Saadhana Circle where you'll connect with other mothers experiencing similar challenges. We move beyond surface-level self-care tips to address the profound identity shift that comes with motherhood but is rarely acknowledged in our culture.
Whether you're struggling with guilt, feeling trapped between who you were and who you've become, or simply exhausted beyond what a good night's sleep can fix, the AyurMother approach offers a path back to wholeness that honors your authentic experience rather than forcing you into cultural expectations of what motherhood "should" feel like.
