About Carolann
Do you wonder how to maintain vocal health throughout a demanding performance schedule? Teaching music allows me to share the insights gained across 13 years as a classical vocalist and 11 years of coaching students from Grade 1 through Diploma. My MMus Voice training informs how I handle stage fear management, vocal range extension, and the careful balance between head and chest voice.
I focus on microphone technique and harmony singing to help choristers and lay clerks find their authentic sound. I find deep satisfaction in helping singers master warm up exercises that protect their instrument for a lifetime of work. My own journey has kept me singing in cathedrals across the UK while I guide others to success.

Starting with a simple vocal exercise often reveals more about a singer than a complex aria. We will prioritise identifying your specific technical hurdles while reviewing your performance recordings together each month to track progress.
This 10.0 rated approach ensures that your development remains consistent as we refine your repertoire for upcoming graded exams. My MMus background provides the framework for rigorous yet supportive technical study.
You will find that clarity in your practice leads to greater confidence on the concert platform. Preparing for your future performances begins with the small details we address today. We will reach your musical milestones one step at a time.
