About Gregory
I am a refugee. I had to flee from my country Russia because I did not support the invasion and did not want to participate in killing innocent people. If I stay, I would be forced to join the military.
Before the war, I worked in a law firm translating documents from Russian into English.

I teach mostly beginner and conversational Russian and Erzyan. They are both my native languages.
I am kind, patient, and flexible in my approach.
I can tailor my lessons according to your needs.
We can also make it creative and fun! For example, using manga (Japanese comic books) as teaching aid/materials. I love manga.
We can also use literature. I particularly love those by Haruki Murakami, Charles Bukowski, and Ryu Murakami. My favorite book is Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. It's one of the best anti-war books.
The typical length of my lesson is one hour.
