About Megan
My name is Megan. I started my career in the healthcare field working as an STNA. I decided to go back to school to obtain my Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma, and began working at a long-term care facility and finally a family physician office. About 6 years later, I decided to get my Registered Nurse degree. Although nursing is very challenging, it is also rewarding. I became a student tutor while in nursing school, helping other nursing students pass their exams and quizzes.
I currently work Labor and delivery and occasionally float to the mother baby unit. My unit is considered a level II. I hold a background in medical-surgical nursing as well.

My teaching method is by using flash cards or taking notes.
Example: Understanding the pathophysiology, nursing assessment, clinical manifestations, and treatment for the disease process.
While understanding the dynamics of disorders/diseases it is important to understand the rationale behind it.
Utilizing pictures and videos
These lessons are for LPN and RN students who are having challenges with understanding the disease process and ways to care for the patient.
