About Sabine
I am a registered nurse with extensive clinical experience and a background in teaching nursing students. Throughout my career, I have supported learners as they develop the knowledge, clinical judgment, and professional thinking required in nursing.
I understand that nursing school can feel overwhelming at times. Many students struggle not only with the volume of information, but also with learning how to apply that knowledge in clinical situations. My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenging concepts.
During sessions, I help students break down complex material into clear, manageable steps. Whether we are reviewing course content, working through nursing exam questions, discussing care plans, or preparing for the NCLEX, I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind nursing decisions.
I take a patient and encouraging approach to tutoring and adapt each session to the student’s needs and learning style. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to help them build the confidence and clinical reasoning skills needed for safe nursing practice.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping nursing students develop clinical reasoning and safe decision-making, which are essential both for success in nursing programs and for professional exams such as the NCLEX.
Rather than relying only on memorization, I help students understand how to analyze clinical situations, recognize important patient information, and determine the safest nursing actions. These skills are fundamental throughout nursing education, from coursework and care planning to clinical placements and exam preparation.
During sessions, we work through questions and scenarios step by step. Students learn how to identify key clinical cues, prioritize care, and apply structured thinking strategies commonly used in nursing practice.
A typical lesson may include reviewing difficult course concepts, working through nursing exam questions, practicing clinical reasoning with case scenarios, or discussing assignments such as care plans or clinical documentation.
My background includes both clinical nursing practice and teaching nursing students. This allows me to connect theoretical concepts with real patient care situations, helping students understand not only what to do, but why nurses make certain decisions in practice.
Lessons are designed for nursing students at different stages of their program, as well as those preparing for the NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN.

My hourly rate reflects personalized one-on-one tutoring tailored to each student’s needs. With my background in clinical nursing practice and nursing education, sessions focus on helping students understand both nursing concepts and the clinical reasoning required throughout nursing school and for exams such as the NCLEX.
Each session may include guided practice with nursing exam questions, review of course material, or support with assignments such as care plans, nursing diagnoses, and writing clear and measurable SMART goals. I also help students strengthen their clinical reasoning and prioritization skills, which are essential for both coursework and exam preparation.
Teaching materials such as practice questions or case scenarios are included as part of the session, and there are no additional fees.
Lessons are conducted online, allowing students to learn from a comfortable environment while receiving focused support and individualized feedback.
Students are encouraged to bring their questions, course material, or practice exams so that sessions can be as helpful and targeted as possible.
