About Maddison
I am a 2nd-year registered nurse interested in tutoring our future nurses! I currently work in the COVID-19 response team, providing testing, vaccinations, and inpatient and outpatient care for COVID positive patients. I also mentor new graduate nurses through their graduate programs and have developed orientation resources to welcome our new staff members.

I have an efficient approach to teaching, and I utilise your knowledge gaps to identify resources that will be helpful. I have a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning theories and can apply various techniques to help students better understand the content. The learner can determine lesson length; I can be available for short refresher lessons (30 minutes) up to long deep-dives into a complex subject (up to 3 hours). I have been involved with mentoring new graduate nurses through their graduate programs over the last year. I will target teaching towards EN students or 1st, 2nd and 3rd year RN student nurses or anyone taking nursing-based courses.
