About Patrick
I’m a registered Occupational Therapist with over four years of post-graduate experience across acute hospitals, rehabilitation, community, and emergency care settings. I currently work in A&E and have held senior Band 6 and Band 7 roles, giving me strong insight into both clinical practice and professional expectations.
I’m passionate about supporting OT students and newly qualified therapists and have supervised and mentored many students across a range of placements. I’m known for being approachable, caring, and highly supportive, and I understand how challenging studying and transitioning into practice can feel.
I offer academic tutoring, placement support, assignment guidance, and new-graduate mentoring, with a strong focus on clinical reasoning, confidence building, and real-world application. I tailor sessions to individual learning styles and aim to create a safe, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions.

My teaching style is supportive, practical, and student-centred. I focus on helping students and new graduates build confidence, clinical reasoning, and real-world understanding rather than memorising theory. I adapt each session to the learner’s goals, placement setting, and learning style.
I use a mix of case-based discussions, guided questioning, reflective practice, and practical examples from acute, rehabilitation, and emergency care. For placement support, we often work through scenarios such as assessments, discharge planning, documentation, and MDT communication.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on needs.
I’m a registered Occupational Therapist with four years of clinical experience, including A&E, acute medicine, rehabilitation, and senior Band 6/7 roles. I’ve supervised and mentored many students and newly qualified therapists.
My lessons are suitable for OT students (undergraduate or postgraduate) and new graduates, particularly those preparing for or currently on placement.
