About Sandy
Spending time lecturing made me realize how much I enjoy interacting with primary school, high school and undergrad students. My aim is not merely to impart information, but to bring enlightenment and understanding of subjects that have the potential to be tedious and exhausting. We benefit most from internalizing what we learn, using it to enrich our lives, not merely to pass a subject - learning can be so much more than that! Everything we learn is a building block to a successful and prosperous future.

Born in a multi-cultural South Africa, I am passionate about a wide variety of schools of thought and believe in a holistic approach to teaching English, Sociology and Psychology. For primary school students, I focus on English pronunciation, syntax, lexicon and grammar, preparing students for higher education. For the high school and undergrad students, I concentrate on the theoretical and structural elements of Psychology and Sociology, enabling students to earn the marks they worked so hard for. I focus on the writing skills required for successful academic essays, covering the technical aspects most students struggle with, such as plagiarism and referencing.
