About Jenni
I've been playing the violin since I was 8 and have achieved distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 and ARSM performance exams. I studied at the University of Leeds on the performance course, which gave me the opportunity to study abroad at a conservatory in the Netherlands for five months.
I enjoy playing and teaching a range of styles and genres, and love orchestral, chamber and solo playing each in different ways.
Playing music is not only enjoyable, but I've also found that you can pick up lots of transferable skills alongside: memory, patience, dedication and much more. It's also a great way to meet people and share music together!

I'm happy to invite all levels and all ages to learn and improve their violin playing with me. My aim for each lesson is for you to enjoy making music and learn one new thing each week. We all learn at our own pace and I encourage finding new ways to figure things out with you. My lessons will be fairly relaxed and provide opportunity for you to play your own choice of music or genre, alongside exam syllabus if you wish!
