About Somi
I am an experienced violin instructor with 7 years of tutoring experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. Teaching music has always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy helping students discover their talents and build confidence through learning the violin.
My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding each student's unique needs and creating lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. I believe that patience, consistency, and encouragement are the keys to successful learning.
Over the years, I have helped many students strengthen their technical abilities and become more confident musicians. One of my greatest achievements has been helping students develop a genuine appreciation for music and continue practicing with enthusiasm.
I strive to provide a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to achieve their goals.

My teaching style focuses on understanding, patience, and support. I believe every student learns differently, so I customize lessons according to their individual strengths, interests, and goals.
For violin instruction, I emphasize strong fundamentals such as posture, bowing techniques, finger coordination, rhythm, and note reading. I use simple explanations and practical demonstrations to make learning easier and more enjoyable.
I support students throughout their learning journey and encourage them to practice consistently. I believe mistakes are part of the learning process, and I help students turn challenges into opportunities for growth.
Apart from violin, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and rhythm exercises. These subjects help students understand music more deeply and become well-rounded musicians.
My objective is to create confident learners who enjoy music and continue improving with enthusiasm.
