About Connor

As a piano tutor with seven years of experience, I am passionate about guiding students toward musical excellence. I teach school and college learners, helping them progress step by step from simple exercises to advanced compositions. Throughout my teaching journey, I have celebrated many milestones, especially when my students confidently performed before large audiences.

I focus on clarity in instruction, proper technique, and gradual skill development. I believe learning piano improves concentration, emotional expression, and creative thinking. My classes combine theory, practice, and performance preparation.

I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s strengths and goals. My aim is not only to train skilled pianists but also to build responsible, confident, and motivated individuals.

About the lesson

My piano teaching methodology focuses on helping students grow into confident, skilled, and expressive musicians. I begin by evaluating each student’s current ability, learning style, and personal goals, then create structured lesson plans that include technical exercises, scales, chords, rhythm practice, and song interpretation.

Motivation is central to my approach; I encourage students with achievable milestones, regular feedback, and positive reinforcement to maintain enthusiasm and consistency. Communication is clear and patient, ensuring students understand note reading, tempo, dynamics, phrasing, articulation, and hand coordination.

Integrity guides my teaching, with well-prepared lessons, punctuality, and honest progress evaluations. Creativity is nurtured through improvisation, composing simple melodies, experimenting with different musical styles, and encouraging personal interpretation.

In addition to piano, I also teach sight reading, ear training, music theory, and keyboard fundamentals to build a comprehensive musical foundation.
