About Leo

I am a committed flute tutor with 10 years of experience teaching students from school to college level, and I am passionate about helping them grow both musically and personally. My journey in music has been filled with learning, dedication, and continuous improvement, and I aim to share this knowledge with my students.

Over the years, I have worked with many learners, helping them improve their skills and gain confidence in their performances. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students participate in competitions and public performances with confidence and enthusiasm.

My teaching method is simple, structured, and practical, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, finger placement, tone clarity, and consistent practice. I also encourage creativity and enjoyment in learning, as I believe music should be both meaningful and fun.

My goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel inspired to learn and achieve their goals.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe every student can learn flute with the right guidance and encouragement. I start by understanding the student’s level, interest, and goals. This helps me create lessons that are comfortable and enjoyable.

Motivation is important in my class. I encourage students to practice regularly by setting small and achievable goals. I celebrate their progress, which builds their confidence. Communication is also key. I explain concepts in simple ways, such as breathing techniques, finger placement, and sound control. I always make sure students feel free to ask questions.

Integrity means I teach honestly and patiently. I focus on building strong basics like posture, tone, and rhythm. Creativity makes learning more interesting. I include simple songs, exercises, and fun activities to keep students engaged.

Along with flute, I can also teach basic music theory, rhythm training, and ear training. This helps students understand music better and improves their overall performance.
