About Colette
As an experienced Spanish tutor, I enjoy helping students achieve their goals through personalised and engaging lessons. My 13 years of teaching school and college students have shown me that confidence grows when learners are encouraged to communicate without fear of making mistakes.
My lessons combine pronunciation practice, vocabulary activities, grammar instruction, conversation sessions, listening exercises, writing practice, cultural topics, and interactive learning materials. Students develop language skills through continuous practice and meaningful communication.
In addition to Spanish, I guide students in grammar, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary development, speaking, listening, pronunciation, travel Spanish, and examination preparation. I work closely with every learner to ensure steady improvement and lasting confidence.

My teaching style focuses on making Spanish practical, engaging, and easy to understand. I teach with Communication, Flexibility, Creativity, Accountability, and Integrity because I believe these values help students achieve lasting success while enjoying the learning process.
Besides Spanish, I teach Spanish Grammar, Vocabulary Development, Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills, Listening Skills, Speaking Skills, Pronunciation, Conversational Spanish, Business Spanish, Travel Spanish, Hispanic Culture, and Exam Preparation. Together, these subjects help students build complete language proficiency.
Communication is encouraged through regular speaking practice, classroom discussions, listening activities, and interactive exercises. Students learn to use Spanish naturally while improving grammar and pronunciation.
Flexibility allows me to personalise every lesson based on the student's learning pace and objectives. Creativity keeps classes interesting through games, visual resources, videos, dialogues, and role-playing activities that improve confidence and participation.
Accountability is maintained through goal setting, revision sessions, assignments, and continuous progress evaluation. Integrity is reflected through honest communication, patience, respect, and professional guidance. My objective is to help students become fluent Spanish speakers who can communicate effectively in academic, professional, and social settings.
