About Nathan
I am a committed Trumpet tutor with 15+ years of teaching experience and a passion for helping students achieve success. I have successfully taught around 300 High School students, College students, and adults by creating engaging lessons that focus on understanding, practice, and confidence.
My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that every student learns differently. I carefully design lessons that match each learner's pace and goals. I explain every topic in simple English and encourage active participation so students remain interested and motivated throughout the learning process.
My lessons include step-by-step instruction, practical exercises, progress tracking, and regular feedback. I emphasise strong fundamentals because they create a solid foundation for future learning. Students receive continuous encouragement that helps them overcome challenges with confidence.
Successfully teaching around 300 students has been one of the highlights of my teaching journey. Many have improved their abilities, achieved their goals, and developed a positive attitude towards learning.
I create a welcoming classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves. My goal is to help every learner enjoy Trumpet while developing confidence, responsibility, and skills that will benefit them throughout life.

I follow a flexible and student-centred teaching approach for Trumpet that supports learners at every stage of their musical journey. Communication helps me understand student goals and provide personalised feedback for improvement.
I use Adaptation to Learning Styles to create suitable lesson plans based on individual learning methods and abilities. I include Real-life examples and case studies from professional trumpet players, performances, and different musical settings to make lessons practical.
I also teach related subjects including Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Rhythm Practice, and Performance Skills. My focus is on improving fundamental techniques, musical creativity, and confidence. I want students to develop a strong connection with music while becoming skilled trumpet performers.
