I have been playing guitar for 15 years and teaching professionally for the last three. My passion is to help people connect with playing music. I'm a songwriter, have played in a wide range of bands and have taught students of all ages and experience levels.

I give lessons to complete beginners through to intermediate level players. If you are new to the instrument, want to open up the fretboard, discover new chord shapes and voicings, learn that challenging song, take a deep dive into fingerpicking then I'm your man. I structure each lesson with a warm up designed to challenge your fingers and will usually centre each lesson on learning some new aspect of playing technique with a little bit of relevant music theory in there to ground your playing and enable you to apply what we have learnt to a variety of uses. I only teach remotely, I think this is a great way of providing a comprehensive service. All lesson materials will be sent to you before the lesson and I will provide a detailed summary of what we covered in the lesson and a practice guide for times between lessons.
