About Puck

I am a sr neuroscience research scientist, and I have a love for teaching, statistical analysis, coding (Python), research writing and making figures. I obtained my PhD in cognitive neuroscience at FIU, and my bachelor in Psychology at UM. I have taught research methods, and neuropsychology at FIU, and have helped many students understand their statistics and write up a clear and well-written research paper. I have peer-reviewed publications in neuroscience journals (Reeders et al. 2021 and Reeders et al. 2023), which you can find online to check out my writing style!

About the lesson

Ever get lost with your statistics, or get frustrated on how to explain your results in a clear and digestible manner? Let me help you! If you have statistical results we will go over what they mean, and think of a clear story. I will help break down your results with you, into a clear story, and help you write it up into digestible text that your reader not only will read with ease! Next we will use a formulaic writing structure to bring the research story to life. We will also discuss potential figures that you can make to really bring your story to life and enhance your paper. We can meet face to face or I can edit for you and leave you detailed notes with tracked changes.
