About Pamela
K-8 reading, PK-6 classroom teacher, k-12 coaching experience. 22+ yrs. teaching and tutoring at the elementary level. Several years at the PK level as well. Coach of JH/9th grade Basketball. Recreation director of city program. Most recently taught Kindergarten for 12 years and tutored k-5th graders. My Iowa teaching license is current. I have always enjoyed engaging a curious student.

My approach is to find out where the student is struggling. What they currently know. Their interests are key to all topics of need. Engaging their minds in the learning process to create a well rounded experience. If a child is missing a basic building block... then we will begin with what step/s they missed or didn't retain.
