About Jaz

I graduated with a BA in Criminology and an MSc in Information Security. I like to be active in speaking for women's and children's rights and in my spare time I am either cooking, being creative or keeping active. I have spoken Punjabi since I could speak, took classes at Gurdwara myself, and achieved almost full marks in my GCSE. I now perfect it by practising daily with family.

About the lesson

I approach each student individually based on their knowledge and what works for them. I can start with basics to hold a common conversation or go into more complicated meanings for song/poem/story translations. Whatever works for you, I will adapt my approach that way.

Jaz was such a great tutor in Punjabi. Her teaching methods made me pick up the language very quickly and I was able to apply it straight away. She is super attentive and will help you feel at ease throughout the lesson when you are unsure on pronunciation. Highly recommend!
