About Hannah
I recently graduated from Rice University, where I studied Cognitive Science with a double minor in Business and Biochemistry & Cell Biology. I have run a tutoring non-profit for 7 years and have worked as a private tutor for the past 4 years. I have also worked as an Interviewer for Rice Admissions. I love seeing my students' progress and growth, and I often get invested in their success. I specialize in college prep (essay writing, SAT/ACT testing, application building) and math subjects.

My teaching methods are tailored to each student's needs and learning styles. I have privately tutored over 35 students and found that the most efficient way to tutor is to start by understanding a student's strengths, weaknesses, and specific learning goals. I teach all grades, but I have the most experience in tutoring middle to high school students. We can work on specific assignments/workbooks that you bring to sessions or I can provide pre-prepared lessons based on a class syllabus/exam materials.
