About Laasya
Hi! My name is Laasya, and I specialize in teaching English and math to elementary students in a way that's fun, engaging, and confidence-boosting. A little bit about me is that I am a senior at Round Rock High School, and I have experience working as a tutor for young learners for about 2 years. Whether your child is just starting to read or needs help with writing and grammar, I create a supportive space where they can grow at their own pace. As a tutor, I create a warm, encouraging environment where elementary students feel confident to grow their English skills.
A typical lesson starts with a quick warm-up (like a word game or short conversation), followed by focused skill practice (such as reading a passage), and ends with a creative or playful review to reinforce what we learned. I adjust every lesson based on the student’s progress and needs, making sure we build both confidence and ability.
