Rising Senior at Tulane University. I am double major in Environmental Biology and Classical Studies, so I would love to teach students that need tutoring in biology, basic math, Spanish, history etc.

About Sarah
I am a 21 year old college students at Tulane University as an Environmental Biology and Classical Studies double major. I grew up on Cape Cod Massachusetts. I have always loved learning of all kinds, but specifically in science. Growing up on a place like Cape Cod I was fascinated by the ocean and all the organisms that called it home. I was that one kid who was gifted a microscope for my birthday one year and being over the moon about it. I was a super high achiever in high school graduating as a pat of the National Honors Society, and have continued that trend into college. Although there have been stumbles along the way, as all students will have, I am extremely excited to obtain my degree in 2024 and start my career in biology! I am quite well versed in other the other topics listed in my profile and am willing to help in anyway I can!

I absolutely love working with students as I think that when teaching, you learn just as much from your students as they learn from you! I approach my lesson plans with compassion and I try to encourage curiosity in my lessons as much as possible. I am always open to changing my lesson plan and approach to teaching according to what the student thinks is best, and always encourage questions of all kinds!
I am currently a rising senior at Tulane University, but I am originally from Cape Cod Massachusetts, and a new englander through and through (Go Sox!!!)! I graduated high school in 2020 and am on track to get my Bachelor of Science in the spring of 2024. I would preferably like to work with students who are either in high school, middle school, or younger. I have a lot of experience working with younger kids as I was a sailing camp counselor for 4 years and am currently volunteering as a speech and debate coach at a local middle school through a program with the university.
I try to have as much fun as possible with my lessons and keep students thinking and on their toes. I can't wait to meet any future students and hope to provide all the help that I can!
