About Felicity
Hello! I am a rising sophomore undergraduate student at Boston University and am studying Biology while following a pre-medicine track and a minor in Spanish. I have a passion for math, chemistry, and helping others. While in high school (10th - 12th) I was a math peer tutor at my school where I aided other high school students with math homework, test preparation, and concept review/re-learning. I really enjoyed being able to help students directly and see the work pay off when they would increase their test scores or finally understand a difficult topic! I am so eager to help more students (K-12) with math, chemistry, or other topics! I truly want to help you, or your student, succeed in school and do so by utilizing my knowledge and skills! While I have taken a break from tutoring, I have been working as an Undergraduate Bioinformatics Research Assistant at my university; volunteering at the local hospital; and engaging in many clubs and extracurricular activities! I look forward to potentially helping you, or your student, as I am very excited to return to tutoring this summer!

- I have lots of experience working with a very wide age range of students (toddler - 18 years)
- I am a math fanatic and love passing on my skills and knowledge to others
- I am very patient with my students and will take all the time needed for them to fully grasp the concept(s)
- I specialize in math (kindergarten - AP Calc AB / Calc I), but I can also aid in Chemistry (currently have taken chemistry classes through Honors General Chem II), Spanish (scored a 5 on the AP Spanish Language and Culture exam), and other academic topics.
- I am happy to teach any student K-12.
- I like to understand what topics the student already knows well, what needs some practice, and what needs to be re-taught/focused on, then I set up a plan for briefly reviewing well-known topics and working towards a good understanding of the less-known topics.
