About Eclipse
My name is Aaron Hui.
I have 4 years of experience in robotics and have 5 years of experience in the presentation industry.
When I was competing in robotics, we were able to win nationals in Canada (at age 11, AND IT WAS OUR FIRST SEASON!)
At the competition, I saw teams with perfect robotics, prefect code and perfect team t-shirts. So, I asked my dad why we looked so inferior compared to them. He looked at me in the eye and said, "Those kids may look better, but they learned nothing. Thier robots were designed by their coach, and their code was downloaded from the internet. Learning is more important than your outward appearance."
And he was right. Later on that team got disqualified because their robot broke and had no idea how to fix it.
Long story short, I teach you how to do it. Simple as that.

What sets me apart from other tutors?
I believe that learning the skill is more important than anything. If you learn something then immediately forget it, it's useless. I aim to create an unforgettable experience for kids that push them to achieve their dreams in the field of technology.
Lesson Overview:
0-10 Minutes:
Go over lesson overview for the day (Learning about Gear Ratios, Building a basic robot, Signups for competitions, etc...)
10-40 Minutes:
Students build robot with guidance, and modify accordingly. Kids learn by themselves, build by themselves and find pieces by themselves so they learn a sense of independence.
40-50 Minutes:
Begin to code the robot with guidence. Depending on what student would like, code can be modified to their specefic build
50-60 Minutes:
Present their robot in video format to express presentation skills and summarize what they learned during the class.
