About Jensen
With 9 years of tutoring experience, I teach guitar to students from school level to working professionals. I enjoy helping students discover their musical abilities and grow step by step.
My teaching philosophy focuses on simplicity, consistency, and practice-based learning. I believe guitar learning should be stress-free and enjoyable. I adjust my teaching style to match each student’s learning speed.
My lessons cover guitar basics, chords, scales, rhythm exercises, strumming and picking techniques, fingerstyle introduction, and song practice. I also include basic music theory to support better understanding.
Over the years, I have guided many students who later performed at school programmes, college events, and informal stages. Helping students gain confidence is my biggest achievement.
I aim to create a motivating and comfortable learning environment where students enjoy learning guitar.

I start by understanding the student’s goals, comfort level, and learning pace. Communication is open and supportive, helping students feel confident. I explain concepts step by step and provide regular feedback.
Integrity is at the heart of my teaching approach. I focus on building strong foundations and encouraging consistent practice habits. Guitar lessons include chords, scales, strumming, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. Along with guitar, I also teach relevant subjects such as basic music theory, ear training, timing skills, and performance confidence. My goal is to help students grow as confident and independent musicians.
