About Max

Ciao! I'm Max, a native Italian from Rome, currently based in Los Angeles and studying at UCLA. Italian isn't just a language I speak; it's the language I grew up in. That's the difference between learning from a textbook and learning from someone who actually lived it.
I have over 6 years of tutoring experience and can help any case. Whether you're a complete beginner wanting to nail your first conversation, an intermediate learner stuck on the subjunctive, or someone preparing for a trip to Italy and needing to sound natural fast, I tailor every lesson to where you are and where you want to go.

About the lesson

What my lessons look like:

Conversation-first — we speak from day one, no memorizing verb charts in silence
Real Italian as it's spoken today, including regional nuance and cultural context
Grammar made logical, not intimidating
Pronunciation coaching with a genuine Roman accent as your reference point

I also speak Spanish, French, and learning Korean, so I understand how people actually learn and retain language — which means I won't waste your time with methods that don't work.
Available for in-person sessions in Los Angeles (Koreatown, Beverly Hills, WeHo area) or online via video call. First lesson is free so we can find out if we're the right fit.
