About Michele
I was born and raised in Rome and now live in Los Angeles. I hold a degree in History from the Sorbonne in Paris and a Master’s degree in Food & Wine Management from Milan.
I speak Italian, English, French and Spanish and have professional experience in high-end hospitality in Los Angeles. Having lived and studied in different countries, I understand the difference between learning textbook vocabulary and actually functioning in another language and culture.
I help my students understand not only correct Italian, but also how Italians really communicate, what sounds natural, how levels of formality work and what to expect in everyday situations.
My lessons are particularly suited to adults, couples, families, travelers, future residents and professionals preparing to work with Italy.

My lessons are designed for people who need Italian for a real reason: moving to Italy, preparing for a trip, buying a home, studying abroad, meeting Italian relatives, getting married in Italy, or working with Italian clients and partners.
We build each lesson around the situations you will actually face: introducing yourself, speaking with landlords and real estate agents, handling appointments and everyday paperwork, ordering and understanding menus, communicating with colleagues and suppliers, and navigating daily life without feeling lost.
I adapt every program to your level, goals and timeline. Lessons include practical vocabulary, role-play, pronunciation correction, cultural context and personalized notes. Grammar is explained clearly, but the main goal is to help you speak naturally and confidently from the beginning.
I also offer specialized Italian sessions for food, wine, hospitality and business professionals.
